Extraction and sales > Staro Oryahovo quarry

The quarry is located 2 km south-east from the village of the same name and about 30 km south from the city of Varna.

EXTRACTION TECHNOLOGY

A transport system is used for operation. The extracted sand is delivered for sieving to a mobile screening plant. It is stored in depots.

TYPES OF FRACTIONS PRODUCED AND APPLICATION:

• Sand, fraction 0/4 - for concrete, solutions, road construction.
• Washed sand, fraction 0/4 - for concrete, solutions, road construction.
• Ballast, fraction 0/100 - for road construction, fillers.
• Ballast, fraction 0/25 - for road construction, fillers.  
• Sand for backfilling - for road construction, fillers.
