The quarry is located 1 km east from the village of Lyahovo and about 7 km north from the town of Balchik.
EXTRACTION TECHNOLOGY
The deposit is developed based on an open technology, by drilling and blasting. Limestone is crushed and separated in a mobile crushing and sorting plant.
TYPES OF FRACTIONS PRODUCED AND APPLICATION:
- Crushed stone, fraction 0/80 - for road construction.
- Crushed stone, fraction 40/80 - for road construction.
- Crushed stone, fraction 20/40 - for road construction.
- Crushed stone, fraction 0/20 - for road construction.
- Large size stone - for bank protection.
- Blown rock - for bank protection, protective dikes, buttress and fillers.
- Selected rock mass - for bank protection.
- Backfilling material - for fillers.
